So on my path-I enjoy working and walking with Animal Magick and their Medicine. The Wisdom and insights that they offer are nothing short of amazing and true.
Over Samhain, I used my Animal Medicine Cards and did a 7 card work up of my Council. These animals serve as my guides and guardians for specific aspects of my life and path. I found my results very insightful and also very reflective of truths I know. I am grateful for their wisdom and intend to use their council.
Finding one's totem animals or Council through medicine cards, meditations, visions, or dreams. This is the council and their seat meanings.......
1. East - Guides you to your Greatest Spiritual Challenges and Guards your path to illumination
Bear-Introspection-Hibernation within the cave of the great void -there is the place of all questions, solutions, and answers. It is within our own mind as well -just need to learn to quiet that mind and go into that Great Void. This space is also known as the Dream Lodge-it is there that death of the illusion of the physical reality overlays the expansiveness of eternity. In the Dream Lodge our Ancestors sit in council for us. The Bear is also female receptive energy and is the visionary for mystics and shamans as well.

She also guides us by teaching us how to "track" in the unfamiliar territory on the journey to face fearlessly the unknown. The white colour of the polar bear is very significant indeed, for it represents purity of spirit. As this bear is fearless and the universal energy only flows when fear is absent, the polar serves as a valuable ally in getting past fear, both physically and mentally. Prior to acting the polar will observe the situation beforehand. They know how exactly how preserve their energy and strength and use both at the most appropriate time for the best outcome.
